VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball is ranked No. 4 in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll for the second-straight week as announced Tuesday evening.
The Coyotes are ranked for the 68th consecutive CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll, with USD ranking in the poll's top-10 since the midway point of the 2017-18 season.
South Dakota (19-5) captured the Summit League Tournament crown exactly one week ago. USD earned the Summit's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight year with the title. The Coyotes are a No. 11 seed in the NCAA bracket and face Oregon in the first round.

Hannah Sjerven,
Chloe Lamb and
Liv Korngable accounting for 63.7 percent of the team's scoring. Sjerven is the two-time Summit League Defensive Player of the Year and a finalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year.
South Dakota and No. 22/23 Oregon face-off at 9 p.m. Monday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
