SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Senior Matt Tolan earned his first top 10 placing of the season with an eighth place finish at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday at the Twin Oaks Country Club.

Short story: The Yotes completed their third tournament of the season with a score of 890 for 13^th place. Tolan finished in the top 10 for the first time this season, marking the second straight meet a Yote has finished in the top 10.
 
TEE OFF

• Tolan recorded back-to-back 69s on the first day to sit tied for second heading into the final day. He recorded a 76 in the final round to finish with a score 214 and placed eighth. Tolan's back-to-back 69s is only the fourth time the senior has record two rounds of under 70.
• Tate Arends tied for 25^th place after scores of 70, 75 and 74. He holed seven birdies in the three rounds.
• Ben Hicks recorded three scores in the mid-70s to finish tied for 74^th place after three rounds. He finished 14 over-par and recorded his second lowest three round score of the season.
• Ben Daane competed as an individual for the Yotes where he tied for 88^th place. His score of 231 is the lowest of the season for the freshman.
• Nick LaMotte competed as an individual for the Yotes in which he tied for 92^nd place. He recorded scores of 76-79-77 for a total score of 232.
• Justin Kolb jumped six spots from day one to day two in which he placed 95^th after recording a score of 233. His score of 233 is his lowest of the season.
• Ian Johnston recorded scores of 79-76-80 for a total score of 235. He placed 97^th and recorded five birdies in three rounds.
• Ryan Neff competed as an individual for the Yotes and placed 100^th with a score of 237.
