South Dakota men's and women's track and field is scheduled to compete Saturday at the Jim Emmerich Invitational held in the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex in Brookings, South Dakota. Events are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.

Marleen Mülla are the reigning Summit League track and field athletes of the week after major performances at the Hawkeye Invitational last weekend. It marked the second such honor of the season for Mülla, who pole vaulted a personal best of 14-1 ¾ at Iowa for seventh in the NCAA this season and fifth all-time at USD. Mülla was one of five women to make a mark on the Coyote Top 10 last weekend. Senior clocked 7.81 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles for the 10th-fastest time in the NCAA. This marks the seventh time in the last eight years that the Coyotes have sent athletes to the Jim Emmerich Invitational.
