The Game
South Dakota closes out the regular season on the road for the final two games. The Coyotes will first stop in Kansas City, Missouri, to face off against the Roos. UMKC currently sits one spot above USD in the conference standings.

A free stream of the game will be provided on KCRoos.com. Fans can tune into the game on the Coyote Sports Network with John Thayer on KVHT 106.3 FM in Yankton/Vermillion or by using The Varsity Network app

The Series
The Coyotes and Roos have split their 12 matchups in the all-time series. Kansas City won the last meeting between the two teams in Vermillion on Dec. 22. In the six games that have taken place in Kansas City, South Dakota has won four of the six dating back to the first meeting in 2012.

The Coyotes
USD puts a current four game win streak on the line heading into the final weekend of play. The Coyotes capped off an 11-4 home record this season with a 78-65 win over Western Illinois at home on Saturday. In a game that included 16 lead changes and nine ties, USD pulled away midway through the second half to earn their 10th conference win of the season, the third consecutive season they've accomplished such a task. Tasos Kamateros set a new career-high with 24 points in that game on Saturday. He shot 57 percent from the field including 6-of-9 three-pointers.

Mason Archambault scored 14 points to lead the Coyotes in the last meeting against UMKC. Though Archambault was the only scorer to reach double figures, each Coyote that entered the game recorded at least one point in the game. The Coyotes shot 44 percent from the field and just 25 percent from beyond the three-point line in the loss to Kansas City.

The Roos
Kansas City has won six of its last seven including an 85-71 trouncing of North Dakota State in Fargo Saturday behind Evan Gilyard's season-high 33 points. That win came at the end of a season-long, four-game road trip. The Roos' only home losses thus far were back-to-back games against Oral Roberts and Denver in mid-January. The team is 10-0 against everyone else. Gilyard II has been nothing shy of terrific as a graduate transfer playing for his third college program. He's averaging 20 points per game in Summit play while shooting 46 percent from the field and 45 percent from 3-point range.

Gilyard's second-highest scoring output this season came in the first meeting against South Dakota. He scored 31 points on 64 percent shooting from the field and knocked down five of his eight three-point attempts. The next highest scorer in that game was Arkel Lamar with 14 points off the bench. Gilyard is second in the conference in scoring by averaging 16.8 points per game. He is also fifth in the Summit with a 45 percent field goal shooting percentage.

One Last Thing
South Dakota has performed well away from home this season with a 5-2 record in Summit League road games. USD is shooting 50 percent from the field on the road and 41 percent from the three-point line. Archambault is averaging 18 points on 52 percent shooting so far in league road contests.
