VERMILLION, S.D.—South Dakota women's basketball fell two spots to seventh in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major poll released Tuesday night.
The Coyotes have been ranked in the poll for 83 consecutive weeks dating back to the 2017-18 season.
South Dakota (18-5, 11-1) saw its nation-leading 16-game winning streak come to an end Saturday at South Dakota State. The Coyotes and Jackrabbits are tied at the top of the Summit standings with six games to play. Senior center

The Coyotes return home to host a pair of games this weekend. Omaha visits Vermillion at 7 p.m. Thursday inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
