VERMILLION, S.D.—Junior Kayla Ribbink has been named to the West All-Region team by the College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) following her performance on Saturday at the West Regional Championship held at Fellows Lake in Springfield, Missouri.
 
The all-region team is composed of the top seven finishers in each division of either the East or West region races.
 
Hailing from Durban, South Africa, Ribbink placed third at the West Regional Championships with an overall time of 1:03:56.06. This marks the first such accolade for Ribbink and the fourth All-Region accolade in South Dakota program history.
