Lahat Thioune's third-straight double-double of the season to advance to the championship game.
Max Burchill put up a career-high 18 points in the championship game against former Summit foe Purdue Fort Wayne but a 22-9 run to start the second half boosted the Mastadons past the Coyotes.
Â

The Lumberjacks
Northland (0-4) is looking for its first win of the season after starting on a four-game skid. The Lumberjacks are led by first-year head coach Cole Schreiner. Schreiner returns to Northland as the head coach after serving as the assistant coach for three years (2017-2020).
Â
Senior guard Jordan Brennan is a three-time all-UMAC honoree who led the Lumberjacks in scoring last season. He's averaging 9.8 points per game and 2.5 rebounds in his 26.5 minutes per game. Senior guard Drew Lindberg leads the Lumberjacks on offense with 10.5 points per game. He put up a career-high 23 points in Northland's season opener against St. Scholastica.
