FARGO, N.D.—The Coyote women broke three Summit League Championship meet records and captured two titles Friday at Terrence Dahl and Donna Beres Track Complex in Fargo, North Dakota.
Sophomore
Danii Anglin cleared a personal best height of 6-1 ¼ (1.86m) to win the women's high jump competition for the second-straight year. Anglin's mark broke the Summit League Championship meet record and South Dakota's program record, both of which were held by USD alumna Megan Glisar. It marked USD's sixth women's high jump title in the last decade. Freshman Matayah YellowMule finished runner-up with her own personal best of 5-7 ¼ (1.71m) and earned all-Summit accolades. Senior
Carly Haring tied for fourth.
The nightcap was another Coyote gold medal with senior
Helen Gould successfully defending her 3,000-meter steeplechase crown. She clocked 10:45.30 to earn all-Summit honors in the event for the third-straight year. Gould was runner-up in 2021 prior to winning last year. Juniors
Renee Thompson and
Abbie Schmidt finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
Junior
Erin Kinney broke a seven-year-old Summit League Championships meet record in the preliminaries of the 100 meters. She clocked a blistering 11.41 seconds. Kinney now holds Summit meet records both indoors (60 meters) and outdoors.
Junior
Jacy Pulse added USD's third Summit record of the day, clocking 58.46 seconds in the preliminaries of the 400-meter hurdles. She broke a 10-year-old meet record previously set by USD alumna Alexa Duling.
South Dakota leads the women's team race with 117.5 points entering the final day. Second-place North Dakota State has 78.83 points and third-place North Dakota has 70. On the men's side, South Dakota sits in third with 49 points behind North Dakota State (107) and South Dakota State (72).
The duo of fifth-year senior
Jack Durst and sophomore

Ethan Heitman took sixth.
Sophomore

Townsend Barton, completing just his second career decathlon, placed seventh with a personal best score of 5,986 points. Fourth-year junior
Wyatt Lubarski, who ended the first day of the decathlon in second, dropped out due to illness.
Fifth-year senior
Liberty Justus capped off her Coyote career with a bang, earning her first career podium spot in the women's heptathlon with a third-place finish. She tallied a career best 5,062 points over the past two days, a tally that ranks sixth-best in USD program history. She placed in the top-five of all seven events, winning the 100 hurdles yesterday and the long jump today. She leaped 18-8 ¾ (5.71m) into a headwind to win the heptathlon long jump.
Following up yesterday's all-Summit performance in the hammer throw, fourth-year junior
Meredith Clark returned to the podium in the shot put. She once again came up big on her final throw, with her last toss of 49-2 ¼ (14.99m) moving her into third place. This is the second-straight year she's garnered all-Summit in the outdoor shot put. Freshman
