Vermillion, S.D. — The South Dakota cross country team is headed to Peoria, Illinois where the Coyotes will race in the 2024 Cross Country NCAA Midwest Regional meet tomorrow, Friday, November 15.

The regional meet is set to be hosted by Bradley University at the Newman Golf Course. The golf course will open at 9 a.m. on Friday morning for fans heading to the meet. The women's 6k is slated for 11:00 a.m. with the men's 10k to follow at noon (12:00 p.m.).

The following Yotes will be competing in the Midwest Regional meet:
Last week the Coyotes hosted the Summit League Championships where the men's team took third place and the women's team took fourth. The women put up a good fight, tying with the University of St. Thomas at a point total of 95.
Sophomore
Madison Brouwer has held a strong position on the team throughout the season as she paced the Coyotes in the Summit League Championships. She finished with an individual sixth-place at the Championships with a time of 21:04.17.
The addition of freshman
Natnael Kifle has proven to be a positive for the Coyotes on the men's side as he lead the team to a third-place team finish at the conference meet. Kifle crossed the finish line clocking a time of 24:56.63 and taking 10
th place overall.
