FARGO, N.D.—South Dakota fourth-year junior
Sara Reifenrath has been named the Summit League Indoor Track & Field Female Scholar of the Championship announced by the league office Friday.
Reifenrath is a two-time Summit League Most Outstanding Performer of the Championship, the 2022 Summit League Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year and a 13-time Summit League Champion.
A native of Hartington, Nebraska, Reifenrath carries a perfect 4.00 grade-point average as a computer science major. She's twice been named to the Academic All-Summit League team and has made the Summit League honor roll each semester.
The Summit League Scholar of the Championship is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average participating at each of the Summit League's 19 championships. Each institution that is participating in a Summit League Championship is eligible to submit one nominee for the Scholar of the Championship award.
The 2024 Summit League Indoor Track & Field Championships are underway at the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility in Fargo, North Dakota.
