The Meet
South Dakota's track and field teams will take on the 114th annual Drake Relays this Thursday through Saturday at the 'big blue oval' inside Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Coyotes will also send a group of athletes to the Mount Marty Twilight on Wednesday. Field events begin at 11 a.m. with running events starting at 4 p.m. in Yankton, South Dakota.

South Dakota returns to the Midwest after a successful weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays in California. The Coyotes posted several marks that rank in the top-50 nationally, including the school record-setting 4x400-meter relay of
Anna Robinson,
Jacy Pulse,
Erin Kinney and
Sara Reifenrath.
Pulse also clocked the sixth-fastest time in the country in the 400-meter hurdles, earning the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week nod for the performance. Senior
Meredith Clark and junior
Joe Lynch were also recognized with the league's weekly award with their performances in the shot put and high jump, respectively.
The Competition
This year's edition of the Drake Relays features 16 elite events ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Coyotes will face top collegiate competition in the field with USD participating in six 'Relays Cup' relay events.
