Max Burchill were both voted to the Summit League Men's Basketball Academic All-League Team announced Tuesday morning by the league office.

Bruns, a native of North Sioux City, S.D., earns the distinction for the first time in his career. Bruns boasts a 3.68 GPA while working towards an undergraduate degree in finance. He averaged 27.8 minutes per game in 32 appearances and 28 starts. He scored his 1,000
th career point against Omaha on Feb. 15, becoming the 33
rd Coyote to join the 1,000-point club.

Burchill, hailing from Sioux Falls, S.D., also earns the honor for the first time in his Coyote career. Burchill started all 32 games for the Coyotes this season and maintained a 3.71 GPA while working towards an undergraduate degree in marketing/finance. He averaged 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 26.5 minutes per game.

To be eligible for Academic All-Summit League, a student-athlete must have a cumulative career grade point average (GPA) above 3.3, have complete one full academic year at their current institution and have participated in at least 50 percent of their team's competitions. The five-person team is voted on by the league's sports information directors and faculty athletic representatives.
