VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota head triathlon coach Kyle Joplin has announced the schedule for the 2025 triathlon squad, competing in four competitions this fall.
 
The Coyotes are set to open the season later this month at the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup in Hot Springs, S.D.. Last fall, the Yotes took third in the same competition to open their year.
 
Following that competition, USD heads west to Colorado on Sept. 14 for the Deserts Edge Collegiate Cup. The 2025 West Regional Championship is set for Oct. 26 in Forth Worth, Texas and the Collegiate National Championship will be in Tempe, Ariz. On Nov. 8.
 
Alexa Magallon was the Yotes top finisher at the National Championships last season, and is one of seven returners from last year. Over the summer, Chelsea Webber placed 10^th overall in the America's Championship in Columbia, and returns for her senior season with the Yotes.
