HOT SPRINGS, S.D. – South Dakota triathlon is ready to open its season in the Black Hills of South Dakota yet again this fall, competing at the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup Saturday morning at the Angostura Recreaction Area in Hot Springs.

RACE DETAILS
Saturday's race is scheduled to beign at 8:15 a.m. Central (7:15 a.m. Mountain Time) and is a super sprint event. A super sprint is a 375-meter swim, 10-kilometer bike, and a 2.5 kileometer run.

The Yotes are one of five NCAA Division I teams ranked in the top 10 of the preseason CTCA Coaches' Poll. Arizona and Arizona State, the two squads ranked in a tie for first in Division I, will both be in the Black Hills for Saturday's race. USD ranks No. 8 in the preseason poll.
