GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Coyotes competed in their second race, and first collegiate sprint, of the season, placing fifth at the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup in Grand Junction, Colo. Sunday morning.
For the second consecutive race,
Chelsea Webber led the Coyotes, placing eighth in 1:04.12.
Alexa Magallon took 14
th overall, second for the Yotes, in 1:05.03.

The Coyotes placed fifth as a team with 212 points. Webber totaled 59 of those points, followed by Magallon's 53. Arizona State, Arizona, San Francisco, and TCU round out the top five.
