Timmerman sets school record on day two of Dr. Rich McGuire Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Geneva Timmerman's 3,000-meter performance set a new school record at the Dr. Rich McGuire Invite hosted by Mizzou Saturday.


TOP PERFORMERS
• Timmerman ran 9:23.76 in the 3,000-meters to set the new school record by nearly seven seconds. Drew Beason also set a top 10 mark in the event with her 9:43.18 time.
• Two Coyote men set new PRs in the shot put with Brandon Vander Sluis (59-9) taking second in the event and Tristan Gray (59-2 ¾) third.
• Jaden Damiano won the 60 hurdles with a time of 7.91.
• Townsend Barton sets a new PR in the heptathlon with a third place total of 5,190 points.
