For the first time in South Dakota track and field program indoor history, a women's pole vaulter has cleared 15-0 in competition, and it happened twice as
Anna Willis and
Marleen Mülla both cleared 15-1 (4.60m) at the Tyson Invitational Saturday afternoon. Coyotes were also in competition at the SDSU Classic.
TOP PERFORMERS
• The women's indoor pole vault record is now a shared one, as
Anna Willis and previous school record holder
Marleen Mülla both cleared 15-1 to place first and second in the Championship Division of the women's pole vault at the Tyson Invitational.
• Their clearance of 15-1 places them second in the NCAA this season and first in the Summit League.
• Two Coyote women set indoor mile personal bests, led by
Geneva Timmerman's 4:47.54 in 10
th place. That time is third in indoor USD history.
Drew Beason cracked the top 10 with a 4:51.44, that is 6
th on the USD indoor top 10.
• Second straight weekend with a personal best in the 60-meters for
Kali Ringstmeyer, who ran 7.50 to place fifth in the event and to improve her second place time on the USD indoor top 10. She also cracked the top 10 in the 200, running 24.65 that is tied for ninth on the indoor top 10.

Isaac Ochoa's 4:06.18 in the mile on Saturday in Brookings is fourth on the USD indoor top 10 and placed him sixth in the event at the meet.

Matayah YellowMule became the sixth Coyote women to pass 40-0 in the triple jump, recording a personal best of 40-9 ¾ to win the event and rank third on the indoor top 10.
Kenya Harris also PR'd at 39-11 ¼ which is 7
th on the top 10 list.

Evan Janzen took third in the 400 in a best of 48.12 that ranks seventh on the USD indoor top 10.
Braxton Smith won the open 400 in 48.47 that is 10
th on the top 10 list.
