SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League has announced the Indoor Track and Field Scholars of the Championships, presented by JLG Architects, and South Dakota's Alexus Sindelar received the women's honor.

Sindelar holds a 4.0 GPA with a major in Kinesiology & Sport Management with plans to graduate this May. She will join the USD Physical Therapy program in the fall.

At the Indoor Championships this weekend, Sindelar intends to run in the Distance Medley Relay, the open mile, and the 5,000-meters this weekend.

The Scholar of the Championship is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average who is competing at their championship.
