SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota track and field totaled 33 all-Summit League honors at the Indoor Track and Field Championships in Grand Forks over the weekend.

A total of 13 men and 14 women earned all-Summit League honors. Freshman
Braxton Smith earned all-Summit League honors in three different events: 400-meters, 4x400-relay, and distance medley relay.
Evan Janzen (400, 4x400),
Mikael Grace (60mH, 4x400),
Andrew Atwood (4x400, DMR), and
Berkeley Engelland (800, DMR) each earned multiple all-conference honors.

In order to earn all-Summit League honors in track and field, athletes must earn a top-three finish in their event(s). South Dakota had the second most all-conference honorees at this year's indoor championships.
