One of 39 Coyotes who competed in all 11 games … compiled 20 tackles from his linebacker spot including four solo stops and one tackle for loss … also credited with one pass breakup … had a season-high six tackles in the season finale at sixth-ranked Illinois State (11/21) … had five tackles at UNI (10/31) and four at Western Illinois (10/10)

2014
Started the final 11 games of the season at inside linebacker … was one of 25 Coyotes who played in all 12 games … had 59 tackles including 25 solo and 4.5 for loss which included one sack … finished as the team’s fifth-leading tackler … also had six hurries … had a pass breakup in the home opener against William Penn that led to an interception and an offensive touchdown that sealed the win (9/6) … forced a fumble and had three tackles at Missouri State (10/18) … had a season-high 10 tackles including one for loss at Southern Illinois (10/4) … credited with a tackle on Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota in the season opener at Oregon (9/6) … had five tackles on special teams … returned four kickoffs late in the year on short kicks and averaged nine yards on those returns … MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award winner … MVFC Conference Honor Roll member.

2013
Played in all 12 games as a reserve linebacker ... finished ninth on the team in tackles with 41, including 28 solo stops ... had four tackles-for-loss, including one sack ... also had one forced fumble and one fumble recovery ... was credited with one breakup and one hurry ... had a season-high six tackles in back-to-back games against Youngstown State (11/2) and Montana (11/9) ... recovered a fumble late in the third quarter against Missouri State that set up a game-tying touchdown (10/5) ... had six special teams tackles throughout the season.

2012
One of 12 redshirt freshmen who lettered in 2012...played in eight of 11 games mostly on special teams...had a special teams' tackle vs. Colgate (9/8) and vs. UNI (11/10)...scout team defensive player of the week heading into both the Colgate game and the UNI game.

Redshirted his first year at South Dakota.

Earned all-conference and all-area honors as a junior and was named Daily Herald Player of the Week...Earned all-conference, all-area and all-state honors as a senior...Earned MSL Defensive Player of the Year honors...Played both ways and tallied 128 solo tackles and 69 assists, inclduing six sacks and one interception.

Son of James and Michele Buscarini...double-majoring in anthropology and kinesiology-sports science with a minor in coaching.
