Played and started in 10 of 11 games at safety … led the team with three interceptions and also had five pass breakups … finished as the team’s eighth-leading tackler with 51 stops including 30 solo tackles and 1.5 tackles-for-loss … forced and recovered a fumble on the same play that led to the first points of the game at North Dakota (9/17) … also forced a fumble at the goal line that led to a touchback in the game at 12^th-ranked South Dakota State (11/12) … had the game-clinching interception in double overtime at Indiana State (10/15) … returned an interception 28 yards to set up a field goal in the win against Illinois State (10/22) … led the team and had a season-high nine tackles at North Dakota … made 22 consecutive starts before missing the game against Western Illinois

One of 11 Coyotes who started all 11 games, he at strong safety … finished as the team’s fourth-leading tackler with 67 including 36 solo stops … finished ninth in the Valley with 10 passes defended including three interceptions and seven pass breakups … ranked sixth in the Valley and 65^th nationally in interceptions per game … picked off two passes in the first half and led the Coyotes with seven tackles in the win at UC Davis (9/12) … returned an interception 21 yards to the 1 to set up the first touchdown in the home opener against Drake (9/19) … led the team in tackles three times during the season … had a season-high 10 tackles at Western Illinois (10/10) … had nine tackles including five solo stops in the win against Southern Illinois (11/7)

2014
Started 11 of 12 games at strong safety … finished as the team’s third-leading tackler with 67 stops including 41 solo stops … four tackles-for-loss ranked fourth on the team … was one of six Coyotes to intercept a pass during the season and was credited with three pass breakups … forced a fumble which led to a turnover against national runner-up Illinois State (11/15) … had a season-high nine tackles at Youngstown State (11/1) and at South Dakota State (11/22) … intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter to help preserve the lead in the win against nationally-ranked Northern Arizona (9/20).

2013
Redshirted ... was named Defensive Scout Player of the Year ... three times was named Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week (leading up to Kansas, Missouri State and Youngstown State).

Central Oklahoma (2012):
Appeared in three games for the Bronchos, registering six stops and recovering a fumble

Prep:
Three-year starter at Class 5A power Lawton MacArthur High School, helping the Highlanders to two district titles and a state runner-up finish . . . finished with 185 tackles and four interceptions for his career . . . all-district pick as a senior and also a two-time state qualifier in tennis.
