Second-team all-MVFC honoree … was named to the Buck Buchanan Award Watch List in mid-October … earned back-to-back MVFC Defensive Player of the Week Awards and was named National Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Coyotes to a 35-28 win against #24 Missouri State on Dakota Days (10/6) … led USD with 10 tackles and forced three turnovers – two fumbles and an interception … on top of that, he broke up a pass on fourth down in Coyote territory that effectively ended the game … one of 10 Coyotes who started all 11 games, he at safety … led the team with two interceptions and was the Coyotes’ third-leading tackler with 76 … forced two fumbles and was credited with six pass breakups … led the team in tackles three times including a career-high 14 tackles in the win at Southern Illinois (9/29) … had 13 stops (9 solo) in the game against UNI (10/13)

2017
One of four Coyotes who started all 13 games, he at safety … earned second-team all-MVFC honors … led the team with 89 tackles including 50 solo, 5.5 for loss and 1.0 sacks … set a program record for longest interception return when he returned a pick 97 yards for a touchdown in a win against Southern Illinois (10/28) … it was USD's first pick-six since 2013 ... recovered a fumble in the end zone with 27 seconds left that secured the Coyotes’ first FCS playoff victory, a 38-31 win at No. 22 Nicholls (11/25) … finished second on the team with five pass breakups and had one other fumble recovery … finished seventh in the Valley in total tackles … had a career-high 12 tackles in the win against No. 3 Youngstown State (10/7) and in the second round of the playoffs at No. 5 Sam Houston State (12/2) … also had double-digit tackles at No. 24 Illinois State (10/21)

2016
One of 27 Coyotes who competed in all 11 games … started the final eight games at free safety after Tyson Graham was moved to outside linebacker … finished with 56 tackles, sixth-most on the team … had 32 solo tackles and 2.0 tackles-for-loss … also had an interception in each of his first two collegiate starts … broke up two passes during the year, and forced two fumbles … in his first collegiate start, had a season-high 10 tackles (8 solo), and an interception that set up a Coyote touchdown against national runner-up Youngstown State (10/1) … also set up a touchdown one week later with a late third-quarter interception in the win against 11^th-ranked Northern Iowa (10/8) … one week later, forced a fumble that led to a USD touchdown in the team’s win at Indiana State (10/15)

Team captain for the Warriors...a three-year starter and a two-time all-conference and all-area safety...rated as one of the top 20 defensive backs in Illinois and led Lincoln Way West to the playoffs this past season.
