2015
One of 39 Coyotes who played in all 11 games … was the starting free safety in USD’s win against eventual national champion North Dakota State (10/17) … had three solo tackles and was credited with a pass breakup in the win … had 18 tackles on the season including 14 solo stops … recovered a fumble and returned it 10 yards in the home opener against Drake (9/19) … had two of his four pass breakups in the win … had a solo tackle-for-loss in the season finale at sixth-ranked Illinois State (11/21) … had a season-high three tackles three times

2014
Played in 10 of 12 games as a reserve defensive back…accumulated 10 tackles including three solo…had a season-high four tackles at Southern Illinois (10/4)…had two of his three pass breakups in the home opener against William Penn (9/6).

2013
Did not accumulate any statistics ... MVFC Honor Roll.

2012
Redshirted...defensive scout team player of the week heading into the Illinois State game.

Prep
Lettered four years at Broken Arrow High School...holds school record for most receptions in a game and most receiving yards in a game...helped lead his team to the 6A championship game and was a first team All-District and honorable mention All-State selection...has a 39" vertical and runs a 4.4/40...had 31 catches for 576 yards and five touchdowns as a senior...also played basketball and competed in track.

Son of William and Tina Armstead...younger brother, Isaac, is also on the Coyote football team...political science major with a minor in coaching.
