SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota swimming and diving captured 11 individual events during the two-day Jackrabbit Invite that was held at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Fals.
Jordan Thielbar was the lone individual to win multiple events as the Coyotes received seven wins from the women's team and four from the men's squad.
Thielbar, a senior, won the 400 IM in 4:41.32 while also claiming the 200 breaststroke in 2:27.24.
Individual wins for the women include
Teagan Haberkorn (500 free),
Jordyn Schnell (50 free),
Haley Pederson (1-Meter diving),
Kristen Quigley (200 back) and
Sabrina Sabadeanu (100 free).
The Coyote foursome of
Hannah Tietjen, Haberkorn,
Hannah Aitkin and Quigley swam to victory in the 800 free relay in 8:02.34.
Victories for the men's team came from
Jacob Won (500 free),
Griffin Wolner (400 IM),
Duncan Johnson (200 IM) and
Tanner Espersen (200 breast). The Coyote foursome of Espersen,
Jacob Paulson,
Duncan Johnson and
Stephen Johnson won the 400 free relay in 3;13.81.
A pair of Coyotes,
Maddie Lavin and
Duncan Johnson, moved into the Top 10 all-time lists with personal bests during the meet. Lavin is now 10
th all-time in the 100 fly with a 57.81 while Johnson is also 10
th all-time in the 100 IM with a time of 53.83.

Tanner Espersen (100 breast), Sabadeanu (100 back), Pederson (3-meter diving),
