South Dakota men's and women's track and field head to Lincoln, Nebraska, to compete at Nebraska's Adidas Classic inside the Devaney Sports Center on Friday and Saturday.

The Coyotes
South Dakota reaches the midway point of the indoor season this weekend at Nebraska. The Coyotes have 10 individuals and one relay ranked in the top-50 of the NCAA this season. Those currently in qualifying position for the NCAA Indoor Championships, or the top-16 nationally, include
Marleen Mülla in the pole vault (10th),
Brithton Senior in the 60-meter hurdles (13th) and
Eerik Haamer in the pole vault (13th). The Coyotes' only other appearance at the Adidas Classic came in 2020. USD finished runner-up to host Nebraska in both the men's and women's team races.

The Competition
The Adidas Classic is hosted by the Big Ten's Nebraska. Joining the Huskers in the field are South Dakota, Northern Arizona, South Dakota State, Texas State and Wichita State.

Second-year freshman
Erin Kinney picked up her first career Summit League weekly honor on Monday. She broke the school's 60 meter record last weekend at the Jim Emmerich Invitational by clocking 7.53 seconds.
