The Coyotes
Three pole vaulters and a high jumper make up the contingent of athletes South Dakota is sending to nationals. The Coyotes' four qualifiers are the only athletes in the Summit League to advance.
This marks the first time South Dakota is sending three women's pole vaulters to the NCAA Division I Championships. Sophomore
Marleen Mülla enters with the nation-leading height of 14-11 (4.55m). She qualifies for her second-straight NCAA indoor meet. Mülla garnered a pair of All-America honors in the indoor and outdoor pole vault as a true freshman.
Gen Hirata, a fourth-year junior, sits ninth in the field with a mark of 14-4 (4.37m). She's also a two-time All-American in the pole vault, earning both honors during the 2021 season.
Cassidy Mooneyhan, a third-year sophomore, makes her debut at a national championship meet. She has the field's 15th-best mark at 14-2 (4.32m).
Joining the vaulters is sophomore
Danii Anglin in the women's high jump. She sits 12th in the field with a personal best mark of 6-1 ¼ (1.86m) earlier this season. This marks her first indoor national meet, albeit she garnered second-team All-America at NCAAs last spring during the outdoor slate.
