The Meet
The 2023 Coyote cross country season begins under the lights at the Augustana Twilight held at Yankton Trail Park Friday night in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The women's 5,000-meter race begins at 8:40 p.m. with the men's four-mile race to follow at 9:10 p.m. The event also includes four prep races ahead of the collegiate action with the first race of the night beginning at 6:40 p.m.

Admission to the event is $10 per vehicle. Spectators are asked to enter Yankton Trail Park by heading southbound on Minnesota Avenue, turning right onto West 57th Street and entering through the West 57th Street entrance.

The Coyotes
South Dakota will be sending a limited squad to the Augustana Twilight. The meet will serve as a debut for nine Coyotes that will be lacing up their cross country spikes and toeing the line in a South Dakota uniform for the first time on Friday night. Junior
Riley Ruhaak, named a Summit League Runner to Watch earlier this week, headlines the group of returners lining up as well.
