PEORIA, Ill. – South Dakota cross country went on the road for their final race of the 2025 regular season, taking on a strong field of runners at the Bradley Pink Classic Friday afternoon at the Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Illinois.
 
The Coyote men ran in the Red (Invite) Race, taking 14^th out of a 23-team field. The Coyote women were split due to the limit of runners allowed per team in the Red Race. The Coyotes running in the Red Race placed eighth out of 26, meanwhile the Coyotes in the White (Open) Race took sixth in a 21 team field.
 
In the men's race, Isaac Ochoa paced the Yotes, running in the top five for the first half of the race, in the top 10 for a majority of the race before finishing 12^th in 24:24.51, the second best finish of a Summit League runner in the field. Natnael Kifle finished the 8k in 25:00.75, good for 47^th, followed by Piercze Marshall in 25:08.35, taking 56^th.

In the women's field, Geneva Timmerman paced the Coyotes with a 28^th place 21:17.3 time in the Red Race. Alexus Sindelar took 40^th in 21:28.5 and Taylor Byerley 21:39.0 rounded out the top three USD runners. In the White Race, Maci Steuber was the top Coyote finisher, taking 25^th in 22:52.63.
