Ashland, Neb. — The South Dakota cross country team traveled to Ashland, Nebraska for their first meet on the road where
Natnael Kifle (Fr., Sioux City, Iowa) took first place in the men's 6k.
The men's team had an impressive night with freshman
Natnael Kifle placing first overall with a time of 18:00, and
Caleb Rivera coming in a close second with a time of 18:05.
Isaac Ochoa also made it up there on the leaderboard, taking fifth place with a time of 18:10, and also helping to contribute to the second place overall team finish.

The women's team also took second place, highlighting
Madison Brouwer with her sixth place finish, clocking a time of 18:10 in the 5k. Brouwer continues to lead the Coyotes as she took first place at their home meet last Friday with a time of 18:14.
