South Dakota track and field split to compete at the Beach Invitational, the Bryan Clay Invitational, and the Mt. SAC Relays Friday in California.
 
TOP PERFORMERS
• South Dakota claimed three event wins and totaled 10 new USD Outdoor Top 10 marks.
• Caelan Harland cleared 17-10 ½ (5.45m) to win the men's elite division of the pole vault at the Mt. SAC Relays. That ranks 20^th in the NCAA as of Friday.
• Marleen Mülla (14-1 ¼) won the women's elite pole vault division. Her clearance ranks 19^th in the NCAA.
• Dutch Neuweiler (16-8 ¾) won the men's pole vault collegiate/open division.
• Over in Long Beach, Delaney Smith placed second in the hammer throw at 202-1, which ranks 35^th in the NCAA this season.
• Four Coyotes set new USD top 10 marks in the 5k, two men and two women.
• Isaac Ochoa won the Open B Division of the 5k at the Bryan Clay with teammate Natnael Kifle placing fourth, both with new top 10 times. Geneva Timmerman and Drew Beason ran USD top 10 times in the women's Open A Division Friday night.
