Played in all 12 games and earned four starts at wide receiver ... finished fourth on the team in both catches (23) and yards (296) ... had three catches for 70 yards, including a 6-yard touchdown catch and a 54-yard haul to setup the score, against Northern Arizona (9/21) ... had four catches for 35 yards against Montana (11/9) ... had 36 yards receiving vs. Youngstown State (11/2) ... also played on special teams and had a tackle against South Dakota State (11/16) ... One of 38 Coyotes who played in all 11 games and earned first collegiate start at Northwestern (9/22)...one of 12 redshirt freshmen who lettered in 2012...caught two passes for 17 yards...had a 10-yard reception against Western Illinois (10/6) and a 7-yard catch against UNI (11/10)...one of 26 active Coyotes with a cumulative GPA above 3.0...MVFC Honor Roll.

Redshirted the 2011 season at USD...Earned Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week honors prior to the Air Force game for the season opener.

A three-year starter at quarterback and two at safety for coach Brian Doll...led his team to playoff appearances during his last two years in the program with a 14-7 record....as a senior completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,356 yards and 20 touchdowns...also rushed for 1,211 yards and 20 touchdowns...made 44 tackles and nine tackles for loss on defense....earned numerous all-state honors and earned conference player of the year honors...as a junior passed for 1,999 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for 997 yards and 16 touchdowns...earned all-conference and all-area honors...as a sophomore passed for 1,006 yards and six touchdowns with rushing for 585 yards and eight touchdowns...in his prep career passed for 5,361 yards and 43 touchdowns....rushed for 2,793 yards and 44 touchdowns...made 87 tackles on defense with 15 tackles for loss.
