Air Force Team Challenge ResultsCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—South Dakota's women edged North Dakota State 131-130 to win the Air Force Team Challenge inside the Cadet Field House on Friday. The Coyote men finished fourth with 68 points.

Tyler Frank each won their respective jumping events with new indoor best marks.
Thompson leaped 40 feet, 8 ¾ inches to win the triple jump. Thompson moves to third on the all-time USD charts and third in the Summit League. Thompson also ran a personal-best in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.99 seconds.
Mills won the pole vault after clearing 13-11 ¼ on her third attempt for a new personal best. Senior
Emily Grove also cleared 13-11 ¼ for runner-up. Mills and Grove are tied for first in the Summit League and 14th in the nation. Redshirt-junior
Hunter Wilkes took fifth by making 12-7 ½.
Frank bettered his personal best for the third-straight week. Frank cleared 6-11 ¾ to win the high jump. He continues to lead the Summit by more than five inches.
Junior
Danielle Waldner broke school records in a pair of throwing events. She bested her own school shot put record by nearly a foot with a throw of 51-10 for second place. Waldner then threw the weight 57-6 ¼ for another school record. Senior teammate
Kayla Johnson had set the weight throw program record of 57-5 ½ earlier this season. Johnson threw 55-6 ¼ in the weight on Friday.
With top-five finishes in a trio of events, senior
Analisa Huschle scored 19.75 points for the Coyotes. Huschle finished runner-up in the 200 meters (25.10), fourth in the long jump (18-4 ½), and fifth in the 60 meters (7.80). Freshman sprinter
Karina Dufoe placed third with a personal best in the 200 meters (25.22) and seventh in the 60 meters (7.84).
Senior
Katie Wetzstein finished runner-up in the mile (5:12.37) and fourth in the 800 meters (2:19.53).

Brooke Ireland, finished runner-up to NDSU with a time of 3:53.66.
Junior
Emily Brigham placed second in the long jump with a season-best 18-8. Brigham also took seventh in the pole vault (12-3 ½).
Ireland took third in the open 400 meters (56.74) in addition to her relay leg.
A week after her league-leading high jump mark of 5-8 ¾, Cannigan made 5-7 for fourth in the high jump. Cannigan also took sixth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.95). Sophomore
Colette Christensen took sixth in the high jump at 5-3.

Mach Dojiok finished fourth in the 800 meters (1:55.29).

Peter Chapman cleared a season-best 16-6 ¾ in the pole vault for fourth. The mark ranks second in the Summit this season.

Connor Fitzsimmons placed fifth in the long jump (22-0 ¼) and seventh in the triple jump (43-5 ¼). Both marks are season bests. Freshman

Jay Cooper took sixth in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.35 seconds.
South Dakota's track and field teams will visit Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Badlands tomorrow on the trip home from Colorado Springs. The Coyotes are back in action next weekend at the Iowa State Classic and South Dakota State Classic.
