VERMILLION, S.D. — The South Dakota track and field program totaled 15 event wins and five USD outdoor top 10 marks Saturday at the South Dakota Challenge at the Lillibridge Track Complex.

TOP PERFORMERS
•
Marleen Mülla and
Anna Willis split the women's pole vault title with matching 15-0 ¼ clearances. That height is a new outdoor personal best for Mülla, who is third in USD history outdoor behind Willis and Emily Grove.
• The 15-0 ¼ clearance for Mülla moves her to fourth in the NCAA and is a Lillibridge Track Complex facility record for Mülla and Willis.
• In the throws, two Coyotes set personal bests to win their respective specialties.
Brandon Vander Sluis recorded a shot put mark of 61-2 ¾ (18.66m), moving into third on the USD Outdoor Top 10 and 32
nd in the NCAA this spring.
Quincy Warren recorded a mark of 197-5 in the hammer throw to set an outdoor best that is 6
th on the USD outdoor top 10.
•
Jaden Damiano is set a new personal best in the 110-meter hurdles, running a 2.4 meter-per-second wind-aided 13.65 to win the event. It bested his previous best of 13.66 and is the new top time in the Summit League. It is also 17
th in the NCAA West Region and 33
rd in the NCAA overall.
• The lone Coyote competing at the Cyclone Twilight in Ames, Iowa was
Natnael Kifle. He ran 3:55.29 in the 1,500.
