Strong was a second-team All-American running back who earned all-state honors in Nebraska in each of his last three seasons ... he set a state record with 3,008 rushing yards and registed 43 touchdowns in leading the Vikings to a Class A (highest class) championship in 2013 ... Strong won two state championships at North and finished with 7,472 career rushing yards on 850 carries (8.8 ypc) ... he totaled 104 touchdowns (103 rush, 1 rec) ... he averaged 231 yards per game and had 35 100-yard efforts ... Strong was the 2014 honorary captain of the all-state football team
