MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award winner … MVFC Honor Roll member

One of seven Coyotes who started all 12 games … started the first 11 games at left guard and started the finale at left tackle … named MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping South Dakota to 304 yards rushing in a 28-21 win against nationally-ranked Northern Arizona (9/20) … helped lead an offense that averaged 166 yards rushing and 189 yards passing per game … MVFC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award winner … MVFC Honor Roll member.

2013
Played in six games in a reserve role on the offensive line ... also competed on special teams for field goals and extra points.

Redshirted...scout team offensive player of the week heading into the Indiana State game...one of 26 active Coyotes with a cumulative GPA above 3.0.

Prep
Competed on the offensive line at Iowa City High School where he earned second team all-state and earned Iowa Preps Second Team All-State honors, as well as being named Iowa City Press Citizen Honorable Mention...named Offensive Player of the Year while earning two letters for the Little Hawks...helped block on offensive line for 4,145 yards rushing in 2010 and 3,332 yards rushing in 2011.
