ASHLAND, Neb. – One men's and one women's runner placed inside the top 10 at the Platte River Rumble- Gold Friday night in Ashland, Neb.

On the women's side,
Geneva Timmerman placed seventh in 17:42.7 in the 5k to pace the third place Yotes. The South Dakota women finished third in the team standings with 71 points, finishing behind Kansas State (34) and Nebraska (68).

th and
Taylor Byerley 15
th by running 17:54.23 and 18:06.78 respectively on the 5k course.
Alexus Sindelar was the fourth Coyote in the top 20, placing 19
th at 18:09.93.

Isaac Ochoa took fifth in 18:02.44 in the 6k men's race as the Coyotes took fifth as a team. USD totaled 112 points as a team, placing ahead of Nebraska and Creighton.
